The location was lovely and excellent, just off the golf club, the lovely garden and areas being an old building, in a large wooded area. Moreover, it was 2 km from a Roman Catholic cathedral. There were an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron in the room, liked that. We didn't have time and missed the English breakfast.

The English breakfast had variety of choices. The room was well-appointed and spotless with smoke detectors for safety measures, and an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. The hotel was in the secluded setting in a secluded area. Plus, it was 15 minutes drive by car from Captain Cook Birthplace Museum.

The location is amazing and incredible, so close to Middlesbrough, areas being an old building, and garden - couldn't be better. Also, it's 3 km from a Roman Catholic cathedral. Make sure to get standard queen room with a good breakfast, a lovely view, for instance.

Romantic hotel and the location in large wooded area was stunning and lovely. The standard family room was large with very comfy beds. A spa bath in the bathroom was a plus. Location: the property was not far from nearby pub, areas being an old building, and the restaurant. Also, the accommodation was only 1 km from Middlesbrough Golf Club.
The staff was a little slow.
